ok, does anyone here get sleeping paralysis, i used to get it a whole lot but it was never a big deal, but the last few night its been violating me to the max and its a bitch any how, its a curious matter, i just wake up and i cant move and it feels like there are people crushing you and you can sense someone standing around your room like an evil entity and you can just feel a presense, also you are still dreaming (thats why you cant move your body) so you can actually see some crazy things in your room around you which can be like a weird sort of real nightmare.. so it seems a commonish thing cause there are lots of people whining about it all over the net and it is a very real thing so lets all share our experiences with night terrors or on the contrary laugh at me for my lameass paralysis hallucination bedtime troubles.. lol..

i do get sleeping paralysis sometimes, but only late-morning, and i don't hallucinate. sometimes its a bitch, and i just try so hard to move or get my eyes all the way open until im fully awake and then i dont want to go back to sleep anymore.

what...i've never even heard of this buisness....insane, the weirdest thing that happens to me is like sometimes when you are falling asleep and then you feel like you're falling and you jerk wide awake...what's that? thats sort of what its like, if you keep falling into it you sort of become paralysed, theres is buzzing in your ears and it feels like there is an evil presense all around. it is very invasive. its as though your body goes ahead to sleep and leaves your mind behind, its like you cant see but you can sense the whole room. its very odd. like your looking at your room from the ceiling corner but you cant see you just feel it. yo, kev i think it usually happens falling asleep or waking up, its crazy shit, thats for sure, the weird thing is i think i can feel before i even go to bed some nights when i think it will happen, it like theres a bunch of sadist demons around panting on your neck every second of the day in some astral plane, but you never notice them unless you leave your body, while going into REM , well thats just one theory, it is apparently just your body releases chemicals to stop you moving and acting out your dreams- but when your mind doesnt quite fall asleep you freak out that you cant move ,so your brain releases chemicals to make you hallucinate so that it can judge whats real and what the fucks going on with the paralysis, but that doesnt really explain it for me, if you ever experience it its the most super natural thing youll know, its very odd. edit: my typing is shit

The jerk JoRi mentioned ... I fell asleep in my girlfriends' room one day 2 summers ago while she was painting and I jerked back to consciousness suddenly. It scared her, but of course I was more frightened by whatever happened in the dream that caused me to jump like that. The paralysis: I'm also one of the people on the net complaining about it, Dave. This is my experience I posted on another board (I was trying to elicit information on astral projection and its relationship with sleep paralysis, or "waking paralysis" as I found some other people call it): My advice (take it with a grain) is just to breathe deeply and _r e l a x_ Don't try to force movement, just surrender your body to the experience and don't be scared. Once you've calmed down you will regain control of your body and you're free to move throughout the night again. Related Link -The connection between SP and Astral Travel- (if you're interested) ...

Just for the record, in the above account of paralysis I was sharing a room with my infant nephew (hence the nighlight).

the whole surrendering thing usually works fine and thats usually what i do, hey they just nightmares right? though on occasion its like youre being strangled, and you can actually hallucinate sillouette figures in the doorway and sense that the want to harm you, its rather fucked up i think it would be sweet to master the ability to surpass the whole getting crushed bit and learn how to mosey around out of body.

Check out the link I posted above.
I've been having SP since the age of about 9 so I'm pretty good with dealing with it now on the rare occasions when it actually hits me. Once I get pass the initial suprise of knowing what's happening I'm usually very calm about it. Your hallucinations seem like real fucking nightmares though. Good luck with them.

yeah, i read your spirit leaves your body and if you train enough your minds, you can travel to other places, but its dangerous if you cant find your way back
try this: sit in front of a corner (white wall) and stare at it for about 10 mins, something spooky will happen
