I'm sure most if not all of you are familiar with the painting 'The Last Supper' by Leonardo Da Vinci. I've only just noticed, or more accuratly have had something about it pointed out to me which I had never realised before. I'd always assumed that it was a painting of Jesus and his apostles(disciples) but take a look at the painting, there's a women sitting on Jesus' right hand side. I really should look at things closer, here's a link to quite a close up image of it: www.edtech.vt.edu/edtech/arthistory/photos/davinci_supperd1.jpgI just wanted to know if I'm the only one who hadn't copped this on

If you read The Da Vinci Code it makes more sense.
Turns out that Jesus was married. But, Catholicism, a religion that was made to primarily rob power from the pagans, made her look like a hooker, so that they would look down on her. They also made up original sin, so that it would seem like women were the downfall of manking, since the pagans worshipped female deities.
Its pretty interesting, anyways.

Don’t get me wrong not trying to stand up for that Catholic church and its stupidity over the years about a lot of things but... forget to mention that the Son of God had a kid? Come on.

there are 12 disciples i think, so is she an extra or a feminine looking disciple, i cant be bothered finding an image of it to see. also, is there a holy grail in the painting, some documentary i saw said she was like a symbol for it, (this documentary also had statues which cried blood so i do question the authenticity of the show but oh well something to think about).
