Well they can kiss my ass if they wanna take my rhyming machine. They will have to pry it from my cold, dead, brain.
*burst out in maniacal laughter and runs off*

pretty good work peter, i just had to be a cock. it comes naturally. Thanks for the compliment, Jonny. Why don't you post some of your own verse? (at first glance, I thought your first post was going to be a quick rhyme)

Green is my favourite colour.
‘Waiting’
Angels divided Devils united Hate beyond the eternal Cries heard infernal Tears of poison flow Antidotes no one knows Fire lives for black haze Drink hot water for day upon days Questions are fired Answers must have died There is no one thinking here The unknowable festers near It bares the unbearable Its speaks the unspeakable Mysteries untold Puzzles unfold Seeing parched grass forever Ancient hounds tear at their tether Awake infinity, never in slumber Just me waiting for my number

I didn't really know what you meant for a while with the level of sarasm present on this board but then I read Green again and noticed the rhyming style. Its a proven formula that one it lets it all flow nicely I find.

Its a proven formula that one it lets it all flow nicely I find. I know what you mean about the sarcasm, but the art section is a place where sarcasm can be found in smaller ammounts, probably because the people who post here are serious about theirs or other people's art with the exception of a few posters. (refer to Jonny's above post for example) About the rhyme scheme: simple and effective. Always allows for a simple, sweet rhythm.

If any of you are familliar with the Perl programming language, you may appreciate these ones: (note- Deering was the name of my old school and 6196 was my student ID number while I was there)
title: "./bored" #! /Deering/6196/perl -w
$boredom=1 while (boredom){ write something; (anything); fake (happiness=(something_Im_not="happy in school")); } initiate my brain; if (before_school) { print <STDOUT> @lot_of_Caffeine[0-9]; consume it; } use brain; @ll_the_things_I_Hate_about_school=~s/logic/propaganda/g; if (fed_up_with_school){ block $them_out; $uck_up+=@nd _ deal; } only <1 year left; tell $tudents ("fuck Off"); leave me_alone; start (fights) if $Needed=1; prove2_B+=$tronger_than_they_thought; be STRONG write MORE; only thing (that) %Keeps {me} $ane;
Sub Co_operative_education; listen+=2 "teacher"="rant on about nothing"; if @sk_questions && don't get answers { print "Fuck this I'm leaving"; } If $Deering eq SHIT { #Indeed it does! print "why bother?";

Written a few years ago, this one actually parses though it may need to be tweaked a little bit ...
Inevitable Equations
#! /kitchen/refrigerator/perl -w
$mornings="shit"; while ($mornings="shit") { $insanity=1; $purpose_in_life=undef; } print ("How are you this morning?/n"); chomp($mood=<STDIN> ) ; if ($mood="shitty") { print "Go to school anyway!"; } elsif ($mood="fine") { print "Liar. Go back to bed./n"; } else print "No one cares about how you feel./n"; }
#mornings suck, surely this is true #mornings suck, what are ya gonna do? #grab your cigarettes and your caffeine #because at 6 AM .... #nothing hits the spot like coffee and niccotine
