A few years back when I was 11 (I know, Im a young one), I went for a walk down the jetty...To cut a long story short, I was drugged and someone dragged me to the beach and did some bad things to me which I dont really wanna name. Ever since then, everytime I went for a walk down the jetty for a fag (with my mp3 player going) I would get hell paranoid that someone was following me and shit. Well anyways, ever since Ive been listening to the Smashing Pumpkins Ive been so mesmorized by the music that now Im no longer having scary thoughts...
Just thought Id share that thought with you, I only realised it just then when I went for a walk...

Sounds good... Their music is great...The majority of it may be dark and sad but its so powerful and moving...Cant live without my daily fix of the Pumpkins these days

music really can affect people, positively or negatively and id definitley say that the pumpkins affected me very positively! they're an amazing band! adore is alright, but if you want to hear real amazing talent check out siamese dream or mellon collie and the infinite sadness. glad to hear you're doing good man

thanks . I'd have to say that Siamese Dream is my favourite...Such simply crafted songs, but ever so powerful

Techno is upbeat and exciting music. Machina is not techno.

adore is more industrial-electronic but you know we shouldn't get caught up in genre-naming, all that matters is zee good music

Haha hardcore jungle, thats funny because those cricket noises in the song To Sheila remind me of the jungle or general wooded area.
