Off and on since Zwan broke up, I've heard rumors that Billy was possibly playing guitar on a few songs on Blindside's new album. I hadn't really heard anything else about it until I was looking at billy-corgan.net today and saw that Billy did indeed play guitar on Blindside's new album, About a Burning Fire that was released last Tuesday. Billy plays guitar on song number 5, "Hooray, It's L.A." Unfortunately, I don't get paid until Monday so I can't buy the album until then, and I'm not really a music downloading type unless it's released directly by the band, so I won't get to hear this song until Monday. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard the song or the album, and what they thought og it. I'm not familiar with Blindside at all, so when I buy the album, it'll be a new exprience for me.
I guess that's all I have to say at the moment. Please respond.

Perhaps this thread should be renamed the thread that only has one person interested in it: me. Anyway, I bought the Blindside album today, and I'm kind of suprised that Billy decided to play guitar on the song he did. He isn't even playing lead guitar. Oh well. There is sort of a duel solo at the end of the song, but it doesn't really sound too complex. *Shrugs*

From what I heard of that band... it doesn't sound like anything I'd be interested in.

ok, I know i"m reserecting an ancient thread, but oh well. I'm bored.
blindside is great, though I have to be in the mood for them. From what I've heard, this album isn't their best, but I haven't heard it myself, yet. They're Swedish Rock, so it's like metal related stuff, which I have never been fond of, but oh well. Theres always exceptions. If your interested, they're most famous and (I think) they're best album is Silence, with the song 'Pitiful'. That song makes me cry.

I listened to the song that Billy does guitar on in the record store a few weeks ago. It was a decent tune. Not enough to buy the album for though.
