some smashing pumpkins make me cry. they bring up memories or they are just so beautiful to me. like soma, soma always makes my eyes water...i just think it's so cool how some songs can just bring up so much emotion inside of you . it never ceases to amaze me...

Depending on my mood, I think it's highly possible for any SP song to make me cry. Sometimes, a song just hits you at the righ moment and you tear up, whether it's because of sadness, happiness, memories, or even anger and frustration.
Here is a brief list of songs that I can think of that have made me tear up:
Blue, Bye June, Daydream, I'm Going Crazy, Today, Disarm, Soma, Mayonaise, Luna, Soothe, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Tonight, Tonight, To Forgive, Bodies, Thirty-three, In the Arms of Sleep, Tales of a Scorched Earth, Thru the Eyes of Ruby, Stumbleine, XYU, Beautiful, By Starlight, Ugly, The Boy, Cherry, Set the Ray to Jerry, Meladore Magpie, Medallia of the Gray Skies, Blank, Ava Adore, Perfect, Once Upon a Time, Shame, Behold! The Nightmare, For Martha, Blank Page, Czarina, This Time, Sparrow, and Soot and Stars.

..maybe if you turned it up to 11 and put your ears by the speaker it could make your eyes water a little...not quite the same...

Tales of a Scorched Earth made you cry? How? First of all, when I was listing off songs, I said tear up, not cry. Secondly, that song is one of the most emotional songs Billy has ever written. If you have ever fully felt and experienced the horribly intense frustration the song describes, you might understand how that song can make me teary eyed.

I dunno, it just seems hard to me, to get teary eyed from those lyrics with all the insane stuff going above it. Maybe if he made like an acoustic version, I would understand.
