In the room as she awoke in the midnight hour I sleep . Her death was tired yet with red dreams she lived to see her bones shrug. Her words carved into my flesh with pine needles. How tragic the infinite music soothes me as the soil took her home. How I would drink the blood of the pure river that we Bathe in . I now sit here in gloom how wicked the room felt as she died soft. Erin. just thought it would be cooll to write and get to see others poetry. [glow=red,2,300]TEXT[/glow]

Art forum.
I like your poem, it flows nicely. Do you read other peoples' poetry? Who is your favorite poet if you have one?

i like writing poetry and songs but whenever i look back at them, i feel sort of embarrassed that i wrote them. my dads a poet, hes published three books Did he publish them himself or does he have a publisher? I have self-published my own poetry into a short collection, though it isn't finished because I didn;t include my visual art to go with it and I've since written tons more stuff, it still serves as proof that I'm interested in bigger publication. But anyway ... some of my poetry is shit, but what counts is what was going on inside me when I wrote it. The people around me and my life in general ... any transitions I was going through or whatever give it the meaning it holds years after I wrote it. Sometimes I'm embarassed to look at it, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

here is another.
Her lips cold in her coffin. Her violet wings moved in my heart. my Burned bones still warm I sit in red glass. My buried words have died into the oceans mystery.

My love of red. How I hide in the moons shadow. his eyes I sleep with . In love I am with his tears. As he slides under the covers to my sweet taste I fall into ryme. the tired reach the sun . my love is coiled into his hands. I thirst for his blood. Erin.

That poem feels like dark shades of blue and red My love of red. all colors of red - passion loveHow I hide in the moons shadow. The moon symbolizes nurture. To hide in the moons shadow seems to be comforting, like seeking refuge under your mother's wing, so to speak. This is blue - very very opposite to red in regards to mood. Red is busy, and blue seems to be more relaxed.his eyes I sleep with . sleeping is comfort: blue againIn love I am with his tears. tears blueAs he slides under the covers to my sweet taste I fall into ryme. under the covers, falling in rhyme - dark red, intense.the tired reach the sun . sun red/orange firemy love is coiled into his hands. I thirst for his blood. dark. red againErin. For jonathan

I would like to see other peoples poetry on here that would be nice. here is another. Her lips cold in her coffin. someone dead, we don't know whoHer violet wings moved in my heart. someone who left huge impressions on the poetmy Burned bones still warm haven't got over the lossI sit in red glass. alone? angry? intense. My buried words have died into the oceans mystery. Everything said to the person who died has been forgotten. I get a picture from this line that looks like someone sitting in a red-transparent room overlooking the ocean, contemplating what the person meant to them and what they wanted to sayErin.
